Illinois Neurological Institute (INI)

Neurological Services | INI LogoThe Illinois Neurological Institute (INI) is a leader in the Midwest for clinical care, research, and education in neurological illness. In 2000, the INI became a part of OSF HealthCare, although many components of the INI were initiated more than thirty years ago.

The Illinois Neurological Institute has a team of highly-skilled neurosurgeons dedicated to taking care of your needs. As one of Illinois’ leading neurosurgical practices, the INI offers comprehensive, compassionate, high-quality care to adults and children with diseases of the brain, spine and peripheral nerves.

Stroke Network

The INI Stroke Network was established to provide expertise in diagnosing and successfully intervening and treating strokes.

More importantly, the Network puts you within minutes of a stroke specialist. If you or a loved one experience the warning signs of a stroke, call 9-1-1 immediately.

The INI Stroke Network is composed of 18 medical facilities in central Illinois that take part in research and treatment methods aimed at improving the recovery of stroke victims. Both OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center are a part of the INI Stroke Network, offering you access to comprehensive stroke education, treatment and a rehabilitation facility.
