Saying Thanks for Special Care

Here at OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center, we often hear such praise for our physicians, nurses and other medical center staff. These professional, compassionate people care for the needs of the sick and injured every day, around the clock.

Often, our patients and their families leave the medical center wanting to say "thanks" in some special way, but don't know just how. Perhaps you feel the same.

Now, through our Saying Thanks for Special Care program, you can recognize an OSF Saint James department, nurse, physician or other staff member who provided special care for you or someone you know. By making a contribution to the medical center in their honor, you can put your thanks in writing and we'll pass it along to the person you identify. You may also like to make a donation in support of your favorite department, program, medical professional, nurse or physician.

Saying Thanks for Special Care provides our patients and their families with the opportunity to show their appreciation in a way that assures that future patients will continue to receive outstanding care. Your personal experience at OSF Saint James gives you a unique understanding of the important role that our caregivers and facilities play in providing leading edge health care to our local community.

Gifts to the OSF Saint James Foundation may be directed to a specific program or facility that was paramount in your positive experience with us and has a special significance to you and your family. All donations will be gratefully recognized and are eligible for a charitable income tax receipt.

How to Give

Following discharge from OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center, each of our patients will be contacted and offered an opportunity to join our Grateful Patient Program. Of course, each patient's decision to participate is a personal one and is respected by the OSF Saint James Foundation.
