OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center offers quality cardiac services where you want them-right here in Pontiac. You don't have to leave the area for diagnosis and treatment of most cardiac-related conditions.

Occasionally, more specialized care or services not offered at OSF Saint James, become necessary. In that event, you can have a full cardiac work-up prior to surgery, as well as follow-up after surgery, right here in Pontiac.

The OSF Saint James cardiology staff is courteous and knowledgable, with lots of experience caring for people just like you. The staff is made up of people from the Pontiac community-qualified people who know you and care about you.

Quality staff is just part of the picture in cardiology. State-of-the-art equipment is standard.

Cardiology services at OSF Saint James include specialized testing cardiac testing, such as:

• cardiolite stress test
• EKG tracing
• echocardiography (ultrasound)
• transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Holser monitoring
• ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
• event recording

Additional vascular services available at OSF Saint James include:

• arterial
• venous
• carotid duplex test
• CCTA

Cardiac Rehabilitation phase II and III are available on site at the cardiac work center.

Routine care of a cardiac condition is also available at OSF Saint James five days a week.

Additional Services
The Cardiology Department at OSF Saint James also provides respiratory care and some neurology services, including EEG tests. Like the cardiologists, neurologists also have clinics on site, on an as-needed basis.
