Cholesterol Screening

October 14, 2010
7:00 AM - 8:30 AM
OSF Saint James Education Center, 2nd Floor
Pontiac

Cholesterol is essential for life, but too much cholesterol in the blood has been linked to the formation of plaques that can narrow arteries that supply blood to all parts of the body. Elevated cholesterol levels put an individual at risk for heart disease. Checking cholesterol levels on a regular basis is recommended. OSF Saint James offers cholesterol screenings to the community.

The screening includes: total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, HDL, ratio and glucose. Results with education will be given immediately. Please fast for 10-12 hours prior to the screening for the most accurate results.

Please call (815) 842-4545 to make a reservation for screening.
