Kenneth Beutke - Vice President, Organizational Development & Planning
Ken Beutke grew up northwest of Pontiac in the town of Long Point, Illinois. He is a rural farm boy at heart who lives in the same house that he was raised in. Ken says, "It is the rural roots that anchor me to Pontiac and the surrounding communities."
Ken has earned a bachelor's and master's degrees in speech-language pathology from Illinois State University as well as a Master's degree in health services administration.
He has been married to his wife, Mary, for 25 years and they have three children, two in college and one in high school. In his spare time, Ken can be found attending to the small herd of Limousin cattle on his farm, serving on the Athletic Boosters and FFA Alumni Council, and attending his daughter's sporting events.
When it comes to his thoughts on OSF, Ken says, "OSF is an organization that lives their Mission every day. That means putting the patient and their family first. In addition, OSF is a leader in many important areas including safety, quality, and service. At OSF Saint James, we can enjoy the family-based small town atmosphere while still delivering the highest quality of medical care to those we serve."
Paula Corrigan - Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

Paula Corrigan grew up here in Pontiac, Illinois and OSF Saint James holds a special place in her heart; her father was the Director of Engineering at the hospital for many years. "Pontiac is a great place to live, work, and raise my family. In addition to access to great health care, the schools are very good and the community is safe and friendly," she says.
Paula earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Illinois State University and is a Registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She has been the Chief Financial Officer at OSF Saint James for over 20 years and is responsible for a wide range of hospital departments including accounting, medical records, dietary services, and housekeeping. She currently serves on the Board of the Greater Livingston County Economic Development Council as well.
Paula has many reasons for working at OSF HealthCare. As she puts it, "Our Mission is at the heart of all we do at OSF which makes it rewarding to know that even though you may not be a direct caregiver, what each of us does contributes to providing the greatest care and love to our patients. I love that OSF Saint James is a close-knit team that cares about each other as well as our patients. I also love that we are able to give excellent care to our patients close to home regardless of their ability to pay."
In her spare time, Paula is very active in a wide range of community, school and church organizations along with her husband, Roger, and their children, Rachel and Daniel.
Elizabeth Davidson - Vice President, Patient Care Services
Elizabeth Davidson grew up just north of the Pontiac area in the rural community of Plainfield, Illinois. "Pontiac is a caring, energized community that is evident in people interactions. Being in Pontiac reminds me of the grounded roots where I was raised," she says.
"As a current nurse leader, I strive to strengthen the caregiver foundation in a quality, safety-driven environment. The culture at OSF Saint James fosters a supportive learning environment that is the foundation to providing a safe and open workplace. OSF HealthCare empowers us to carry out the Sisters' Mission in serving persons 'with the greatest care and love.' We are together at OSF HealthCare for a reason," she says.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Saint Francis University, formerly Saint Joseph College of Nursing, in Joliet, Olivet Nazarene University, and Walden University, where she earned her Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN). She hopes to pursue her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as well. She is married to a retired Marine captain, Gary, who served in the Gulf War. They have two children and two granddaughters.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys reading, gardening, music, biking, and hiking. She is also a participant in her community church choir.
Timothy Johnson - Executive Director, Diagnostic & Ambulatory Services
Tim Johnson grew up in a rural farming community so he feels very much at home in Livingston County and the surrounding communities. "I like Pontiac because of the rural community feel, yet it is big enough to support the businesses that I routinely utilize," Tim says.
Tim earned his Bachelor's in health care leadership from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois and is currently earning his Master's in health care administration, which he hopes to complete by fall of 2012.
With the assistance of his wife, Susan, a retired surgical nurse, and his two sons, Tim operates a farm in rural Woodford and Livingston counties. He enjoys attending his sons' sporting events especially football. He is also active with school and church organizations in the El Paso, Gridley, and Flanagan communities.
When asked why he works for OSF, Tim states, "The culture here is different. The Sisters say we are called to serve and, from my own experiences, I believe that's true. At OSF Saint James, there is a family atmosphere and people work well together from various disciplines and levels of the organization."
In addition, Tim also knows what health care means to the self-employed farmer. "For a period of time, I was self-employed as a farmer and a carpenter. I did not have a job to obtain health insurance and had to purchase a private health plan with high deductibles. Like many in our community, I understand the challenges of self-employment and operating a small business. These experiences help me relate to the people in the communities that we serve."
