OSF Saint James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center, a state-of-the-art 47 bed replacement healthcare facility completed in 2002, has been dedicated to providing the very best for each and every patient and family member who chooses OSF Saint James for their care, since we first opened our doors in Pontiac, Illinois in 1907.  Our mission has always been to provide patient-focused care that exemplifies individuality and hospitality for all we serve.

The OSF Saint James Family Birthing Center offers a wide variety of pre- and post-delivery diagnostic services and education programs, critical care through Children’s Hospital of Illinois, OSF Medical Group OB/GYN’s and Pediatricians, and an experienced team of nurses that provide personalized care through every step of the birthing process.
